Introducing Rounding option in Margin Rule for defining RSP/WSP

Module:

Procurement - Setup - Vendors - Margin Rule

Enhancement Summary:

Ginesys has introduced rounding configuration in margin rule which would help in auto populating the desired rounded value in Proposed RSP/WSP, hence manual updation is not required.

Scenario:

Brands in general want to fix the RSP/WSP of the product in any one of the following manner:

a. Price to be rounded off and not remain in decimal.

b. Price of the product must end with 9, which in general is known as Charm Pricing.

Currently in Ginesys, users need to manually change the price in margin violation window to get it updated in the item master.

Introducing Provision to set slab wise Margin

Module:

Procurement - Setup - Vendors - Margin Rule

Enhancement Summary:

Now user can set the margins slab wise. This would be applicable for both markup and markdown cases.

Scenario:

Possible scenarios would be like:

For Markup

a. Setting fixed RSP/WSP, slab wise based on cost range.

b. Setting margin%, slab wise based on cost range.

For Markdown

c. Setting fixed cost, slab wise based on MRP/WSP.

d. Setting margins%, slab wise based on MRP/WSP range
