12757  Introduction of B2B Credit Note Document Series in Ginesys POS

    Module:

    POS - Normal POS

    POS - Collection Centre

    Scenario:

In POS, for B2B POS bills users do E-invoicing, similarly there are cases of return for which users need to create an e-invoice as a credit note for sales return. But as per the current Ginesys functionality, B2B sales return credit note need to be handled manually because Ginesys do not have a separate Credit note series in POS, unlike HO. And as per GST there should be separate Series for Tax Invoice and respective Credit Note.

    Enhancement Summary:

    • A new system-defined GST document series is introduced for B2B Return bills. So after the update every B2B return will have a separate GST CREDIT NOTE DOC NO.

    • This GST CREDIT NOTE DOC NO is also catered in EaseMYGST integration:

      • E-Invoice is now enabled for B2B credit note alike B2B Tax Invoice from Ginesys POS.

      • Now Credit Note will flow in GST return as a separate document alike Tax Invoice & will also be declared under doc issued section in GSTR-01 as Credit Note.

For getting the reflection in GSTR-01 return, HO version also needs to be updated.

        EMG Integration

Customers who are using EMG integration for GST return filing purpose must keep in mind, If the update is done in middle of the month, then there would be a scenario where B2B returns made before the update would be included in the B2C consolidation (as-is) and rest would be pushed as separate Credit Note document.

    Not Doing

As per the GST law, B2C credit/debit not is not required to be disclosed separately. It shall be net off while filing GST return, so we have not considered B2B credit note doc series in such cases.

    Non Integrated Approach

Respective reports have been updated considering new GST Doc No, for B2B Credit Note.

    Restrictions

    • Exchange operation is now restricted for B2B POS bills (both ad-hoc & against the bill cases).
