Enhancements in Cost Sheet

Sub-Assembly Item Support in the Cost Sheet

  • Each sub-assembly item can now have its own set of cost and component details, making it easier to track and manage production costs

  • Once approved, the cost sheet can be copied directly to the BOM with Sub-Assembly Item-wise component definitions, eliminating redundant data entry

Provision to Modify System-Generated Component Rates in Cost Sheet

  • We’ve enhanced the Cost Sheet with the introduction of a new Cost Rate field, enabling users to manually adjust component rates.

  • This flexibility allows for more accurate cost estimation, basically when market prices fluctuate or when there are bulk purchase discounts or any other reason.

Enable Copy Functionality for Existing Cost Sheets

  • We have added the functionality to copy an existing cost sheet into a new draft with just a few clicks. This is especially useful for:

    • Reusing standard processes, SAIs, and rates across similar assemblies.

    • Speeding up cost sheet preparation.

Flexibility to modify Cost sheet even after Authorization

We’ve introduced more flexibility in cost sheet management with the new revert option. This is helpful for,

  • Making updates to UDFs, rates, or components missed during initial entry.

  • Avoiding duplication when minor corrections are needed post-approval.

  • Maintaining a clean approval workflow while still allowing changes when required

Introducing Audit Trail Support for Cost Sheet

With the new ability to modify cost sheets after approval, the Audit Trail has also been introduced for Cost Sheets to ensure transparency and control. This tracks all key changes made to a cost sheet, along with user details and timestamps.
