How To: Switch Users
In certain incidents, the option helps you to switch users using different credentials, while still working in the same session from the same terminal. This is mainly an administrative function.
Prerequisites
You need to have a session open in a terminal.
You need to have the credentials of the user you want to switch with.
Step-by-step guide
Click on the Tasks menu (or press shortcut key F5).
Click on the Switch User option.
Switch User window opens.
Enter the credentials of the new user you want to switch with the current user.
Click on the Switch button.
To return to the previous user, again click on the Switch User option and click on the Switch Back button.
