Pack Order and Invoice Generation in WebPOS
Zwing POS facilitates both order packing and invoice generation seamlessly within the POS system, ensuring efficient transaction processing.
Pack Order Process
Here are the steps to pack an order in Zwing WebPOS:
Select the confirmed order from the Order Management screen in Zwing WebPOS.
Then, simply click on the 'Pack Order' button.
When you click on 'Pack Order' button, the Pack Order screen will appear, allowing you to scan the barcode of the items that need to be packed.
Scan the items, then click on the 'Confirm Completion' button to finalize the packing process.
After clicking the 'Confirm Completion' button, the order will be successfully packed.
Invoice Generation Process
After packing the order, you can conveniently generate the invoice and print the order receipt directly from the same screen.
To generate the invoice, simply click on the 'Generate Invoice' button.
Note that the invoice can only be generated once the complete payment has been received from the customer. If any portion of the total order amount remains outstanding, a pop-up message will appear, as illustrated below.
After clicking the 'Continue' button, you'll be directed to the checkout page to receive the pending payment. Once the pending payment is collected, the invoice will be generated automatically.
Partial Invoice generation
You can also generate an invoice for a partial order using the following steps:
To generate an invoice for a partially packed order, tap on the 'Order Options' dropdown menu on the Order Summary screen, then select the 'Generate Invoice' option.
The Generate Invoice screen will appear, allowing you to select the items for which the invoice needs to be generated.
Once you've selected the items, simply click on the 'Generate Invoice' button to proceed. After clicking this button, a confirmation pop-up will appear, as shown below.
Clicking on the 'Generate' button will redirect you to the checkout page if any amount is pending to be collected. Otherwise, the invoice will be generated.
After collecting the complete payment from the checkout page, the invoice will be generated.
